Senior Pakistani actress Shaista Jabeen has openly criticized senior actor Firdous Jamal’s attitude toward women and said she will never work with him again.
Speaking on a private morning TV show, she said a person’s ego, nature, and upbringing make or break them. She acknowledged that Firdous Jamal is an excellent actor, but added that if a person is not good, their success becomes meaningless.
Shaista Jabeen said she worked with him only once and that experience was enough; she dislikes hearing him speak inappropriately about women.
She also noted that Firdous Jamal has spoken against many senior actors in the past, but those artists will always be remembered for their work and names, and no statement can diminish their status.
