    New order of Corona SOPs issued in Sindh till May 16

    In view of the Corona virus situation, the Sindh Home Department has issued a notification to implement the new restrictions till May 16. According to the notification, commercial activities will be from 6 am to 8 pm, business activities will be suspended on Friday and Sunday, indoor service will not be allowed in the restaurant.

    Rangers personnel martyred, 5 people injured in Karachi cracker attack

    A Rangers personnel was martyred while three other people sustained injuries in a cracker blast in Karachi’s Orangi Town No 5 on Monday, News channel reported.     Sindh curtails market business hours amid steep rise in corona cases

    In a bid to curb spread of coronavirus in Sindh, provincial government has reduced business hours and has directed to close all markets by 10pm. According to the notification issued by Sindh Interior Ministry, buffet at marriage has been banned; however, wedding ceremonies with upper limit of 300 guests are allowed till 10pm in the province.

    PPP win PS-88 Karachi and PS-43 Sanghar by-election

    Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) won the by-election in the Sindh Assembly constituency PS-88-Karachi and PS-43 on Tuesday,  According to unofficial result, PPP candidate Yousuf Baloch secured 24,251 votes to win the PS-88-Karachi by-election. Syed Kashif Ali Shah of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan remained second by getting 6,099 votes. Jansher Junajo remained third with 4,870 votes.
