Iran elected hardliner Ebrahim Raisi as new President

Conservative judiciary head Ebrahim Raisi has been elected Iran’s eighth president, the interior ministry has announced. The ministry confirmed on Saturday that Raisi won 61.95 percent of the vote on a voter turnout of 48.8 percent – the lowest turnout for a presidential election since the 1979 revolution. Raisi got 28,933,004 votes.

Hajj policy 2021:Saudi citizens and foreign residents to perform Hajj

Pakistanis will not be able to perform hajj this year as well, only Saudi citizens and foreigners residing in Saudi Arabia will be allowed to perform hajj. Saudi Arabia announced Saturday it will allow 60,000 vaccinated residents of the kingdom to perform the annual hajj, state media reported.
