I and COAS are two bodies and one soul: PM Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the Constitution stands as a beacon of national unity, recognizing the youth as our greatest asset.

He articulated that the two-nation theory has become obsolete, as even statues symbolizing it have fallen. There’s an urgent need for reflection and learning from this evolution.

Declaring himself a devoted servant of Pakistan, he asserted that both he and the army chief are united and serving the nation as two bodies and one soul. There is no room for division; instead, we must embrace consensus and unity, with everyone contributing to the country’s progress.

Addressing the National Youth Convention on Wednesday, Shahbaz Sharif stressed that Pakistan requires unity and collaboration, not division. He portrayed a vision where, by coming together, we can overcome adversities and thrive.

He pointed out that today’s challenging circumstances demand that politicians collectively serve the nation and work harmoniously with constitutional institutions within their mandates. If we do this, history will remember us favorably; if not, future generations will never forgive our failings.

Despite immense challenges, Pakistan became a nuclear power, a testament to our resilience, and our enemies will remain blind to our strength till the end of time.

Prime Minister Sharif asserted that the cornerstone of Pakistan’s development lies in the hands of the young generation. They will be provided with all necessary resources to foster progress, relying on modern science and technology to navigate towards development and prosperity. Efforts are underway to tackle various challenges, including those related to electricity, revenue, and exports. “The call of the hour is for everyone to play their part in the nation’s growth.” He reiterated the importance of eradicating terrorism at all costs.

He also mentioned that the recent Independence Day was celebrated with extraordinary enthusiasm, and the triumph was doubled after 40 years when Pakistan won the gold medal. Amidst these celebrations, Arshad Nadeem exemplified unwavering courage and determination.
