The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced its candidate for the post of Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, while the Pakistan People’s Party and the Muslim League-Nawaz have fielded a joint candidate.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi for the post of Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir.
Sources said that Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi had left the Muslim Conference and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He has won from LA-18 Poonch-1 constituency of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Abdul Qayyum Niazi has been a minister on the Muslim Conference ticket from 2006 to 2011.
After the nomination of PTI MPA Abdul Qayyum Niazi for the post of Prime Minister, celebrations took place in Dara Sher Khan and Sehra Bazaar villages of Tatta Pani area and people took to the streets.
