The sessions court in Lahore has set August 18 for the indictment of well-known YouTuber Rajab Butt along with four other defendants in an assault case.
This case was presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Zafaryab, following a complaint lodged by Ayesha Jutt against Butt and the other accused.
During the hearing, the prosecution contended that the police had inadequately investigated the defendants while preparing the challan for the case. They urged the court to review the situation in accordance with legal standards and permit further proceedings.
After considering the arguments and reviewing the case documentation, the court scheduled August 18 for the formal framing of charges against Rajab Butt and the four other defendants.
Additionally, the court instructed all five accused to be present at the next hearing.
