Bilawal Bhutto will support PML-N on his own terms

People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari anticipates an impasse in government formation if a change in stance isn’t on the horizon.

While speaking with the press at the Supreme Court on Tuesday, he made it clear that he won’t alter his position on collaborating with the PML-N to establish a central government.

‘Progress is possible only if someone is willing to reconsider their position. Without that flexibility, I predict an impasse,’ the ex-foreign minister Bilawal remarked, emphasizing that such a deadlock would be detrimental to both democracy and the parliamentary system.

He asserted that any support he offers to the PML-N will be on his own terms, not on theirs.

He attributed the delay in government formation to a lack of seriousness, stressing that this is counterproductive for Pakistan’s democracy. ‘The sooner this issue is resolved, the better it will be for stability and the new government.’
