Veteran actor Talat Hussain passes away in Karachi

Pakistan’s famous actor, singer, and director Talat Hussain has passed away.

Talat Hussain’s daughter confirmed his death to Arts Council President Ahmed Shah.

According to President Karachi Arts Council Ahmed Shah, Talat Hussain had been admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in Karachi for several days. He had been a member of the Arts Council Karachi since its inception and was also involved in its governing body.

President Arts Council Karachi Ahmed Shah said that Talat Hussain was an excellent person and a great artist. He showcased his acting skills in many domestic and international films and dramas.

Talat Hussain was born in Delhi, India, in 1940. He dedicated half a century to the arts, spending most of his life in acting, singing, and other artistic endeavors.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Talat Hussain was a legendary actor whose dialogue delivery was once recognized.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his grief over the death of prominent TV, theater, film and radio actor Talat Hussain and expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased.

In his message, the Prime Minister has said that may Allah Ta’ala grant late Talat Hussain a high place in Jannat al-Firdous.
