US Central Command has announced airstrikes in southern Iran.
The command said US forces struck suspected missile‑launch sites and engaged Iranian boats allegedly trying to deploy mines.
CENTCOM added that the US military intends to exercise restraint but will act to protect US forces as the ceasefire continues.
Earlier, multiple explosions rang out over Bandar Abbas. Iranian media, meanwhile, said the situation in the city was under control and there was no reason for alarm.
