No one will be allowed to use violence in the name of political activism, Army Chief

Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has stated that violence will not be tolerated under the guise of political activities, and the army is committed to fulfilling its constitutional duties and following the guidance provided by the Election Commission.

The Army’s Public Relations branch, the ISPR, has reported that the 262nd Corps Commanders’ Conference took place with Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir presiding.

At the Corps Commanders’ Conference, there were discussions about deploying the army to support the Election Commission during the elections.

The conference emphasized that under no circumstances will violent acts be permitted in the context of political activities, as such actions would undermine the integrity of free and fair elections.

It was said in the conference that the army will perform its duties according to the constitutional mandate and the instructions of the Election Commission.

The forum concurred that India’s evident breach of international laws and its authentic disposition must be revealed globally.

Conference attendees were informed about India’s cross-border, unlawful executions and India’s government-backed terrorism—a vicious crusade against Pakistani nationals.

Conference attendees noted that the global community has voiced grave worries regarding India’s deployment of state force for killings internationally.

The forum reaffirmed its pledge to back the Kashmiris’ self-determination right and declared that Pakistan will persist in offering moral, political, and diplomatic backing to the Kashmiri brethren in harmony with international statutes and UN decrees.
