New Zealand register victory in third ODI,clinch series against Pakistan

New Zealand defeated Pakistan in the third One-Day International (ODI) on Friday by two wickets, as they chased 281 runs target in the 48th over to win the series.

New Zealand’s opener Devon Conway, skipper Kane Williamson and Glenn Phillips scored half-centuries to help the visitors chase the target.

Phillips counterattacked after a collapse and carried New Zealand over the line with 11 balls to spare. They rounded off their tour with a 2-1 victory, their first ODI series win on the subcontinent in 15 years.

New Zealand reached 281-8 in reply to Pakistan’s 280-9.
