Senior Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh has voiced his anger at Bushra Ansari’s sarcastic remarks about his divorce during a recent event.
He appeared at a press event alongside Behrooz Sabzwari, Rubina Ashraf, Bushra Ansari and Shabbir Jan.
At the ceremony, Bushra Ansari made a sarcastic remark about Javed Sheikh’s divorce, which upset him and led to a sharp response.
A video from the event circulating on social media captures Bushra Ansari saying, ‘I went to Javed Sheikh’s house; he didn’t even give me anything to eat because he didn’t have a house at that time. His house was built before my eyes and later demolished before my eyes. All this happened in front of me, not because of me.’
Javed Sheikh expressed anger and responded: ‘What Bushra said about my divorce was a joke, but someone’s house being destroyed or broken is not something to be happy about. I never talked about their broken house, nor did I ask why their marriage ended.’ He also told Bushra, ‘Next time you tell my story, make sure you tell your story too, because your marriage was not successful either.’
After the clip went viral, users reacted critically to Bushra Ansari’s comment. One person wrote that the friendship between the two had fallen victim to the evil eye, another said Bushra sometimes speaks unnecessarily and too much. Others called her a great artist and a legend but said her attitude toward Omar seems to be changing. Several users defended Javed Sheikh, calling him a legend and condemning the mockery aimed at him.
