Hezbollah walkie-talkies targeted by Israel in new round of coordinated fatal blasts,14 dead

A fresh wave of fatal cyberattacks struck Hezbollah in Lebanon on Wednesday, with old-school walkie-talkies becoming the unexpected targets in what seems to be another meticulously executed supply chain operation by the Israeli Mossad.

Lebanese security sources disclosed that the ‘handheld radios’ started detonating late in the afternoon in the bustling capital of Beirut.

The Times of Israel reported that at least nine people have tragically lost their lives and over 300 sustained injuries, yet again, due to these coordinated explosions.

The blasts were notably reported at a mobile repair shop and during a somber funeral procession in Beirut, as noted by the Israeli news outlet.

According to the Associated Press, solar energy systems also erupted in homes scattered across various parts of Beirut and the nation’s southern regions, injuring at least one young girl, the official news agency of Lebanon confirmed.

Emanuel Fabia, the military correspondent for the Times of Israel, shared a purported video of one of the explosions on X.

‘Footage purportedly shows the moment a Hezbollah walkie-talkie exploded during a funeral in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut,’ Fabia wrote.
