Through an Instagram video, Ali Zafar challenged the practice of comparing women’s appearances across different time periods. He emphasized that men specifically must reflect on their perspectives, as cultural norms frequently require women to conform to particular standards concerning their physique, personal circumstances, and looks.
Zafar reflected that he himself had previously made remarks about people’s physical appearances but now believes such conduct is inappropriate.
