England beat Pakistan in 4th T20, win series 2-0

England dazzled with an outstanding all-round performance as they triumphed over Pakistan by seven wickets at The Oval on Thursday.

England’s brilliance shone through as they restricted Pakistan to a mere 157 after winning the toss, with leg-spinner Adil Rashid, the star of the match, claiming 2-27 from his full four overs.

They then burst into their chase with great enthusiasm, as Phil Salt (45) and captain Jos Buttler (39) combined for a spectacular opening partnership of 82 within just seven overs. Harry Brook sealed the victory magnificently with a six off paceman Haris Rauf, who was the standout of the Pakistan attack with 3-38. England completed their innings at 158-6, securing the win with over three overs to spare.

This glorious victory ensured England a 2-0 triumph in the four-match T20 series, where matches at Headingley and Cardiff were unfortunately washed out without a single ball being bowled.
