US President Donald Trump has once again used a threatening and harsh tone toward Iran.
In a social media post, he said 1,000 missiles are ready to be aimed at Iran.
He says the US military has been ordered to completely destroy all areas of Iran if necessary.
Trump said there would be serious consequences if Iran carries out its threat to kill or attempt to kill him.
He also warned that if Iran tries to follow through on the threat, thousands more missiles would be launched.
A recent report in The Wall Street Journal said Israel told President Trump it had intelligence indicating Iran was allegedly planning to assassinate him.
Iran, meanwhile, says it has not requested a new round of negotiations with the United States.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said they have accepted the mediators’ visit to Iran.
