Sindh Cabinet approves Rs 2244 billion budget for the new financial year 2023-24

The Sindh Cabinet has approved a budget of 2244 billion rupees for the new financial year.

The pre-budget meeting of the Sindh cabinet was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Sindh. This was the last pre-budget cabinet meeting of the 45-year period of the Sindh government.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the rest of the cabinet meetings will continue as usual, our cabinet served the people better under the guidance of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

He further said that local body elections are the manifestation of the success of our government.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that this is the last pre-budget cabinet meeting of the 5-year period of the Sindh government.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced a 35% increase in the salaries of employees from grade 1 to 16 in the province.

The Chief Minister of Sindh has also announced to increase the salaries of employees of grade 16 and above by 30%.

Murad Ali Shah also announced a 17.5% increase in pension and a 35% increase in the minimum salary of Rs 25,000.

The Chief Minister of Sindh has said that the minimum salary will be 35 thousand 550 rupees.
