Today the government and PTI will have their last round of negotiations regarding the political turmoil in the country. However, both the parties have rescheduled the timing of the meeting with mutual consent.
After mutual agreement between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the time for negotiations has been changed. The meeting of the negotiating committee, which was supposed to take place at 11 am, will now be held at 9 pm tonight due to the busy schedules of the committee members. The talks will take place at the Senate Secretariat.
The delegations of the PTI and the ruling coalition will meet tonight at the Parliament House at 9 pm to hold final round of negotiations and reach a conclusion after consulting with their leadership. It should be noted that while the government wants to continue until the budget is presented, the PTI emphasise to dissolve the government by May 14. In this regard, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has also said that they are prepared for elections if the National Assembly is dissolved by May 14.
