In a message congratulating President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, along with the Turkish government and its citizens on Victory Day, the prime minister noted that August 30 marks the historic victory led by Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged the Turkish people’s proud legacy of bravery and national resolve.
He remarked that the relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye is one of heartfelt connections, fortified by centuries of common faith, history, and struggle. He reiterated that Pakistan, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia are united for mutual security and collective defense.
The prime minister highlighted that the joint defense agreement signed in Makkah exemplifies the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Turkiye.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhance its strategic partnership with Turkiye, stating that cooperation between the two nations would be expanded across all sectors.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the shared prosperity and security of both Pakistan and Turkiye is a mutual commitment.
He expressed optimism that the friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Turkiye would continue to strengthen with each passing generation.
