NCOC set charges for booster short of vaccination

NCOC has set a fee of Rs1,270 per person for the booster shot. This fee will be deposited in a National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) account.As per reports, the federal government has sent a handout to the provincial governments as well as Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) governments, asking them to take measures in this regard.

Earlier NCOC announced that 50 million Covid-19 doses have been vaccinated to the people. About the vaccine statistics, the NCOC said that the vaccine administered across the country on August 27 was 1,063,229 while total vaccine administered till now is 52,048,413.  It also said that in the last 24 hours, 61,306 Covid-19 tests were conducted and 4191 cases resulted positive and virus positivity ratio was 6.83 per cent and deaths occurred 120.
