In a gripping turn in the enduring saga between vibrant young actors Alizeh Shah and Minsa Malik, a rivalry simmering since August 2023 has taken a dramatic new twist. Alizeh recently levelled serious accusations against her co-star, claiming Malik has been haunting her with menacing death threats.
Sharing her ordeal on Instagram stories on a Monday, the star of ‘Dil Mom Ka Diya’ penned a chilling account, ‘She’s been calling me from unknown numbers, sending me death threats AGAIN.’
In a grave warning, she added, ‘If anything happens to me, just know it’s that meesni (the label Shah uses for Malik).’
This turbulent story harkens back to the time when Malik, celebrated for her roles in ‘Aulaad’ and ‘Nand’ among others, instigated a legal challenge by filing an FIR in Islamabad. She alleged that Shah, purportedly under the influence of drugs, had violently assaulted her and flung a marijuana-filled cigarette her way while they were in the midst of filming with Sami Khan.
Now, two years wiser, Shah has stepped forward to share her version of events, alleging that Malik subjected her to persistent harassment. Shah insists Malik’s claims of the on-set drama were fabricated; instead, she accuses Malik of physically assaulting her, even slapping and pushing her while the cameras continued to roll. Shah demands a heartfelt apology from Malik and encourages her supporters to keep the pressure on Malik if she fails to do so.
