
Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have announced the arrival of their second child, a baby girl, bringing their family size to four members.
The couple revealed the joyful news on Saturday, September 19, via an Instagram post that showcased a photograph of their newborn’s delicate foot.
Their announcement read “Welcome baby girl” and included the birth date of September 19, 2026. The post was signed by “Dua, Deepika and Ranveer” and featured an evil-eye emoji.
Their first daughter, Dua, born on September 8, 2024, has now assumed the role of an older sister.
Industry peers and friends from Bollywood promptly sent their congratulations following the announcement.
Actress Kriti Sanon offered her felicitations to the couple and acknowledged Dua’s transition to being a big sister, while vocalist Shreya Ghoshal similarly conveyed her best wishes.

Deepika and Ranveer’s connection began during the production of the 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Following a period of dating, they formalized their relationship through marriage on November 14, 2018.
