The government has decided to make Barrister Iftikhar Gilani the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir. Barrister Iftikhar Gilani was elected to the technocrat seat.
This decision was made after important consultations at the Prime Minister’s House. Shah Ghulam Qadir, Raja Farooq Haider, and Speaker of the Azad Kashmir Assembly Chaudhry Tariq Farooq were involved in the consultations.
The schedule for the election of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir has also been delayed by one day, and the election will now be held on August 28.
