
Nawab Town police have filed a case against Rajab Butt and several of his associates following accusations of assaulting a group of women and discharging a firearm during a dispute at a cafe in Lahore.
The FIR was registered based on the complaint of Ayesha Jutt, who claimed that the incident occurred on July 25 when she and her friends visited a local cafe. According to her account, two men and two women began to harass one of her friends, which escalated into an argument.
The complainant reported that when they attempted to intervene, the suspects allegedly verbally assaulted her friend before physically striking her. She also stated that one of the accused, named Mir Shafi, brandished a pistol and fired shots during the confrontation.
The FIR further claims that Rajab Butt was present at the location and took part in the assault against the complainant and her friend during the incident.
In response to the complaint, Nawab Town police have registered a case under Sections 354, 506(B), and 337-H(2) of the Pakistan Penal Code and have initiated an investigation into the situation.
