An intelligence-led operation between Jhau Cross and Kararo on the N-25 highway in Balochistan resulted in the deaths of 19 Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists and left several others injured.
According to security sources, 11 security forces personnel were killed during the operation.
Authorities say the deceased militants had been actively extorting money from passengers and local residents along the route.
Security officials emphasized that the lives, property and highways of the people will be protected, and that any attempt to hold the peace of Balochistan hostage will be met with a decisive response.
