PM Shehbaz Sharif to visit Iran and Turkey today; he will attend Khamenei’s funeral

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Iran and Turkey from today until July 5.

He will travel to Iran to attend the funeral prayers for the martyred Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and a high‑level delegation of federal cabinet ministers.

The delegation will pay solemn respects and convey Pakistan’s deepest condolences.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will reaffirm Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity with, and support for, Iran.
