Pakistani actress, host and singer Fiza Ali has issued a public apology after a controversial clip from her show went viral.
A short segment from the live broadcast, showing her new husband Aijaz Khan lifting Fiza onto his shoulder, rapidly spread across social media platforms.
The footage ignited a fierce reaction online, with viewers expressing shock and outrage and many calling for regulatory action. Critics demanded that PEMRA investigate and ban the program.
Fiza later sought to clarify the situation, saying the clip was taken out of context on social media. Nevertheless, after receiving a notice from PEMRA, she apologized to the public, expressing regret for the disturbance caused and asking for understanding.
