
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Riyadh tomorrow for a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, as stated by the Foreign Office on Sunday.
He will be traveling with a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with senior members of the federal cabinet.
The visit comes at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
During the visit from October 27 to 29, Shehbaz will attend the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII 9) conference, themed “The Key to Prosperity: Unveiling the New Frontiers of Growth”. The event will bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers and experts.
Talks with the Saudi leadership are to focus on trade, investment, energy and manpower, as well as regional and international developments. “The discussions will also cover regional and global issues of mutual interest and concern.”
The prime minister will also hold meetings with other world leaders and heads of international organisations, where he will highlight Pakistan’s investment potential and sustainable development initiatives.
According to the Foreign Office, the visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to advancing economic diplomacy.
