An officer of the Pakistan Army has heroically embraced martyrdom during a high-stakes security operation in the Awaran district of Balochistan, as announced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.
In a detailed statement, the army’s media wing revealed that security forces set in motion an intelligence-driven operation within the district, following reports of ‘the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy, Fitna al-Hindustan.’
‘During the operation, our forces skillfully targeted the terrorist hideout, resulting in the elimination of three Indian-sponsored terrorists,’ it further stated.
Despite the intense exchange of fire, Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq, aged 34 and hailing from Muzaffarabad, a valorous officer leading his troops valiantly from the front, courageously paid the ultimate sacrifice.
‘The security forces of Pakistan remain resolute in eradicating the scourge of Indian-sponsored terrorism from our soil. The noble sacrifices of our gallant soldiers only reinforce our unwavering resolve.’
