Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has emphatically declared that water represents a red line for Pakistan and the essential right of 240 million Pakistanis will never be compromised.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he made these poignant remarks while speaking to vice-chancellors, principals, and esteemed senior professors from various universities.
The Chief of Army Staff passionately expressed that teachers are the most invaluable asset of Pakistan. He added, “I owe my success to my parents and my esteemed teachers.”
He stressed that it is the solemn responsibility of educators to shape the character of future generations. “It is your duty to pass on the true story of Pakistan to the next generation. In the pursuit of truth, Allah has supported Pakistan at every juncture.”
Emphasizing national unity, the army chief remarked, “The battle for truth shows that when a nation stands united like an impenetrable iron wall, no force on earth can break it.”
On the issue of Kashmir, the Field Marshal firmly asserted, “There can be no compromise on Kashmir. We can never forget it, and India must understand that Pakistan will never abandon Kashmir.”
He reiterated with unwavering commitment, “Water is Pakistan’s red line, and we will not permit anyone to infringe on this essential right of 240 million people.”
Refusing to accept Indian hegemony, the resolute army chief firmly declared, “Pakistan will never accept India’s dominance. Despite India’s persistent efforts over decades to suppress the Kashmir issue, it has continually failed. It is no longer feasible to conceal this matter.”
He further criticized India’s internal challenges, asserting, “Terrorism in India arises from the increasing oppression and discrimination against minorities, especially Muslims. Conversely, Kashmir remains a contentious international dispute. The terrorists in Balochistan are backed by India and have no affiliation with the Baloch people.”
The Field Marshal passionately stressed, “We must strive to build a formidable Pakistan where all institutions function under the rule of Constitution and law, free from political influence and personal agendas — serving solely for the welfare of our citizens. We must stand against anyone who attempts to weaken the state’s narrative.”
During the lively Q&A session, participants expressed their deep pride in the armed forces, passionately stating, “This safe land stands sturdy thanks to those in uniform. We hold immense pride in Pakistan.”
