United States eases travel restrictions for Pakistan
Considering the security situation in Pakistan better, the United States eased travel restrictions for Pakistan. Travel Advisory has been upgraded from Level Four to Level Three.
Under Level Four, US citizens were instructed to “avoid unnecessary travel to Pakistan.” Restrictions on travel to Pakistan by US government and diplomatic staff will remain in place.
On the other hand, the Foreign Office spokesman termed the US decision as a step in the right direction and said that it was a recognition of the improved peace and security situation in Pakistan.
The spokesman said the decision was an expression of the Pakistani government’s response to the Corona challenge.
The spokesman added that he would continue to work with the United States to further improve travel advisory.
