
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir embarked on an insightful and immersive field visit to the renowned Warminster and Larkhill Garrisons, graciously invited by General Roland Walker, Chief of the General Staff of the British Army.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that General Munir was thoroughly briefed on the ambitious modernization plan of the British Army, with a particular focus on the Deep Recce Strike Brigade.
The British Army also proudly showcased cutting-edge niche technologies, highlighting advancements in artificial intelligence and uncrewed systems during his visit.
Earlier this week, General Munir was warmly received with great dignity on the first day of his official visit to the United Kingdom, where he is set to participate in the prestigious 7th Regional Stabilization Conference at the noble Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst.
His welcome was marked by a ceremonial Guard of Honour at the historic Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground, performed by a meticulously dressed contingent.
General Munir is expected to deliver a keynote address on “The Emerging World Order and Pakistan’s Future Outlook,” providing his valuable insights.
The Stabilization Conference is recognized as the foremost platform for Army-to-Army dialogue between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, held annually to encourage collaboration and partnership.
The event gathers a balanced mix of policymakers, both civilian and military, alongside distinguished members of think tanks.
