The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expanded its visa-on-arrival program for Indian citizens, adding six new eligible countries. This move aims to enhance tourism, attract skilled professionals, and strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for travellers and expatriates.
The UAE offers a visa-on-arrival facility to eligible travellers, allowing them to enter the country without obtaining a visa in advance. This program simplifies entry for visitors and professionals, making travel more convenient.
Starting February 13, 2025, Indian citizens holding ordinary passports and valid visas, Residence Permits, or Green Cards from the following new countries will also be eligible for a visa-on-arrival at all UAE entry points:
- Singapore
- Japan
- South Korea
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Canada
This applies to all UAE entry points, including major airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and more. This expansion significantly broadens access for Indian travellers and professionals, allowing more seamless entry into the UAE.
