The scene at Nur Khan Airbase was one of majestic splendor, with prominent figures like President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif waiting to greet him.
In tribute to his presence, a traditional 21-gun salute thundered through the air. President Erdogan was surrounded by a distinguished entourage, while Pakistan Air Force jets accompanied his special plane into the country’s airspace, underlining the visit’s significance.
Two children, in beautiful traditional costumes, expressed a warm welcome by presenting bouquets to President Erdogan and the First Lady. The welcoming ceremony was further enriched by a military band, while spirited children waved the national flags of Pakistan and Turkey.
Throughout his stay, President Erdogan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will oversee the 7th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, which aims to deepen their diplomatic relations. Erdogan will also hold crucial bilateral talks with Prime Minister Sharif and President Zardari.
