PAtleast three Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred, while four Khwarij terrorists were eliminated during three separate, daring operations executed by security forces in the rugged and rebellious Tirah Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release, three valiant soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom while extinguishing the threat posed by four Khwarij terrorists during fierce exchanges of fire that erupted between the Security Forces and the Khwarij at three distinct locations within the Tirah Valley.
The ISPR mentioned that due to the precise and effective engagement by the Army troops, the four Khwarij terrorists were neutralized.
However, amidst the intense and relentless exchange of fire, three brave sons of the soil — Havaldar Inam Gul (aged 37, a resident of District Mianwali), Sepoy Muhammad Imran (aged 29, a resident of District Tank), and Sepoy Iltaf Khan (aged 22, a resident of District Mardan) — exhibited unparalleled bravery and fought gallantly, ultimately embracing martyrdom.
A ‘sanitisation operation’ is underway to eradicate any lingering Khwarij terrorist threat in the area. The Security Forces of Pakistan are unwaveringly committed to obliterating the scourge of terrorism, and such noble sacrifices by our courageous soldiers only fortify our resolve to maintain peace,
