Taliban declares victory in Aghanistan after taking control of last province ‘Panjshir’
Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid declared victory in Afghanistan’s last province, Panjshir.
In a statement, the Afghan Taliban spokesman said that the last stronghold of the enemy, Panjshir Valley, has been conquered and with the help of Allah and the support of the nation, Panjshir has been achieved.
Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement that with the help of Allah and the support of the nation, success has been achieved in Panjshir, the valley has been completely taken over by the Islamic Emirate.
Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that several commanders and fighters of the Northern Alliance were killed, many fled, and hoped that the people of Panjshir would not be exploited in the future.
“The people of Panjshir are our brothers. There will be no retaliation. We will all work together for the development and prosperity of the country,” he said.
Earlier, fighting broke out between the Taliban and resistance forces in Panjshir and both sides were claiming control of most of the districts in the valley, but independent sources did not confirm these claims.
