رکن قومی اسمبلی شیر افضل مروت وزیراعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کے منصب پر علی امین گنڈاپور کی بحالی کےلیے عدالت پہنچ گئے۔

وفاقی آئینی عدالت اسلام آباد میں دائر درخواست میں شیر افضل مروت نے کہا کہ علی امین گنڈاپور کے استعفیٰ کو غیر آئینی اور کالعدم قرار دیا جائے۔

درخواست میں کہا گیا کہ علی امین گنڈاپور کو ڈی نوٹیفائی کرنا غیرقانونی اور آئین سے متصادم ہے، وزیراعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کے عہدے سے استعفیٰ ایک سزا یافتہ نااہل فرد واحد کی ڈکٹیشن پر لیا گیا۔

شیر افضل مروت کی درخواست میں سہیل آفریدی کی بطور وزیراعلیٰ تقرری کا نوٹیفکیشن کالعدم قرار دینے کی استدعا کی گئی ہے۔

درخواست میں موقف اختیار کیا گیا کہ علی امین گنڈاپور سے استعفیٰ دباؤ کے تحت لیا گیا، جس کی کوئی قانونی حیثیت نہیں، انہیں دوبارہ وزیراعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کے طور پر بحال کیا جائے۔

شیر افضل مروت نے درخواست میں استدعا کی کہ غیر آئینی اقدامات کے نتیجے میں ہونے والے تمام سرکاری فیصلے منسوخ کیے جائیں۔

بانی پی ٹی آئی سے ملاقات کے دن پارٹی رہنماؤں کے اڈیالہ جیل نہ آنے پر علیمہ خان ناراض ہوگئیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ پارٹی کے ارکان اسمبلی اڈیالہ جیل کیوں نہیں آئے؟ جو لوگ اسمبلیوں میں بانی پی ٹی آئی کے ووٹ سے بیٹھے ہیں، کیا انہیں یہاں نہیں ہونا چاہیے تھا؟

پارٹی رہنما شاہد خٹک نے علیمہ خان کو وضاحتیں دیتے ہوئے کہا میں نے تو آپ کا بیان پارلیمانی گروپ اور خیبر پختونخوا کے ایم این ایز گروپ میں شیئر کر دیا تھا۔

شاہد خان کا کہنا تھا کہ سب کو کہہ دیا تھا کہ اڈیالہ جیل پہنچنا ہے، اگلے ہفتے خیبر پختونخوا کے تمام ارکان اسمبلی اور وزیراعلیٰ یہاں ہوں گے۔

علیمہ خان نے کہا کہ جو لوگ اڈیالہ جیل نہیں آسکتے انہیں عہدے اور سیٹیں چھوڑ دینی چاہئیں۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ جن لوگوں نے بانی پی ٹی آئی کے نام پر ووٹ لیے انہیں تھوڑی سی شرم کرنی چاہیے۔

اڈیالہ جیل راولپنڈی میں بانی چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی اور اُن کی اہلیہ بشریٰ بی بی کی ملاقات کرادی گئی۔

جیل ذرائع کے مطابق بانی پی ٹی آئی اور بشریٰ بی بی کی ملاقات 30 سے 35 منٹ جاری رہی۔

ذرائع کے مطابق ملاقات کانفرنس روم میں کرائی گئی، دونوں نے اس دوران ایک دوسرے کی خیریت دریافت کی۔

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Murad Saeed following his conviction in May 9 case related to 2023 violent protests.   

In a notification, the election body stated that Saeed was sentenced to 10 years in prison by an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi, leading to his disqualification under Article 63(1)(h) of the Constitution.

Following the decision, the Senate’s general seat from KP has been declared vacant.

Saeed was elected senator from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in July 2025, but could not take the oath as he remained in hiding.

In mid-February, he submitted his resignation from the Senate seat in a letter addressed to the party chairman.

In the letter, also posted on the party’s X handle, Saeed said, “This parliament, founded on illegitimacy, has become complicit in every attempt to turn the gravest insult to the people’s mandate into the nation’s destiny, where even after taking an oath on the constitution, its authority has been distorted.”

Saeed further said lawmakers demanding basic rights for the “elected and real prime minister” were themselves being confined for protesting, adding, “I hereby resign as a protest.”

سابق وزیرِاعظم عمران خان میں آنکھوں کی ایک سنگین بیماری کی تشخیص ہوئی ہے جسے سینٹرل ریٹینل وین اوکلوژن (CRVO) کہا جاتا ہے۔ 

یہ عارضہ عموماً عمر رسیدہ افراد میں پایا جاتا ہے اور اس کا تعلق دل اور خون کی نالیوں سے جڑے خطراتی عوامل جیسے ہائی بلڈ پریشر، کولیسٹرول کی زیادتی، ذیابیطس اور دل کی بیماریوں سے ہوتا ہے۔ ماہرینِ چشم کے مطابق CRVO اس وقت ہوتا ہے جب ریٹینا (آنکھ کے پردے) سے خون واپس لے جانے والی مرکزی رگ، جسے سینٹرل ریٹینل وین کہا جاتا ہے، بند ہو جاتی ہے، جو عموماً خون کے لوتھڑے (clot) کے باعث ہوتا ہے۔ 

اس رکاوٹ کے نتیجے میں خون کی روانی متاثر ہو جاتی ہے، جس سے ریٹینا میں سوجن، رطوبت اور خون کا رساؤ اور بعض اوقات آنکھ کے اندر خون بہنے کی کیفیت پیدا ہو جاتی ہے۔ اس کے باعث نظر اچانک یا بتدریج کمزور ہو سکتی ہے۔

ایک سینئر ماہرِ چشم نے بتایا کہ CRVO کے مریضوں کو قریبی اور مسلسل نگرانی کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے کیونکہ کچھ مریضوں میں چند ہفتوں یا مہینوں کے اندر سنگین پیچیدگیاں پیدا ہو سکتی ہیں۔ 

ماہر چشم کے مطابق اس بیماری کو بعض اوقات غیر رسمی طور پر ’سو دن کا گلوکوما‘ بھی کہا جاتا ہے، جو دراصل نیو ویسکیولر گلوکوما کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔ یہ ایک پیچیدگی ہے جو شدید ریٹینل وین اوکلوژن کے بعد پیدا ہو سکتی ہے جب غیر معمولی نئی خون کی نالیاں بنتی ہیں اور آنکھ کا دباؤ بڑھ جاتا ہے۔ 

ماہرِ چشم جنہوں نے اپنا نام ظاہر نہ کرنے کی درخواست پر بتایا کہ یہ صرف آنکھوں کا مسئلہ نہیں ہوتا۔ یہ جسم میں موجود خون کی نالیوں کی بیماریوں کی علامت بھی ہو سکتا ہے، اس لیے مریض کی مجموعی صحت کی سخت نگرانی ضروری ہوتی ہے۔

عمران خان کے معاملے میں ڈاکٹروں کے مطابق ان کی دائیں آنکھ کی نظر کم ہونے پر تفصیلی معائنہ کیا گیا جس میں ریٹینا کی امیجنگ اور آپٹیکل کوہیرنس ٹوموگرافی (OCT) شامل تھی۔ یہ معائنہ اڈیالہ جیل میں کیا گیا۔ ان نتائج کی بنیاد پر ڈاکٹروں نے اسپتال میں فالو اَپ علاج کا مشورہ دیا جس کے بعد گزشتہ ہفتے رات گئے انہیں پاکستان انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف میڈیکل سائنسز (پمز) منتقل کیا گیا تاکہ تجویز کردہ طریقۂ علاج کیا جا سکے۔ 

پمز میں عمران خان کو اینٹی وی ای جی ایف دوا کا آنکھ کے اندر انجیکشن دیا گیا جو ریٹینا کی سوجن (جسے میکولر ایڈیما کہا جاتا ہے) کم کرنے اور خون کی نالیوں سے ہونے والے رساؤ کے باعث مزید نقصان کو روکنے کے لیے ایک معیاری علاج ہے۔ 

ماہرِ چشم کے مطابق علاج کے ابتدائی مرحلے میں اس نوعیت کے انجیکشن عموماً ماہانہ بنیادوں پر لگانے پڑتے ہیں۔

انہوں نے بتایا کہ زیادہ امکان ہے کہ انہیں ہر ماہ مزید انجیکشنز کی ضرورت پڑے، یہ اس بات پر منحصر ہوگا کہ ریٹینا علاج پر کس طرح ردِعمل دیتا ہے۔

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expelled senior leader and Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat from the party, following directives from party founder Imran Khan, sources confirmed on Monday.

According to party insiders, Imran Khan instructed PTI leadership to revoke Marwat’s basic membership, citing concerns over his conduct at a recent political rally in Swabi on February 8. A formal notification terminating his membership is expected to be issued soon, after which he will also be asked to step down from his parliamentary seat.

The decision follows complaints from several party leaders regarding Marwat’s actions at the rally, prompting an internal review and subsequent action against him.

However, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has denied knowledge of Marwat’s expulsion. Speaking to reporters, he stated that he had not received any official confirmation from the party founder.

“This is an internal party matter, and I have not been informed about such a decision,” Barrister Gohar said. He emphasized that he follows all directives from the PTI founder and expressed disappointment over the breakdown of negotiations, stating that the government never wanted dialogue to proceed in the first place.

The expulsion of Sher Afzal Marwat marks another significant development within PTI as the party navigates internal challenges and external political pressures.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan, on a Monday, issued a stern warning of imminent nationwide protests if Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa receives an extension through constitutional amendments.

Speaking from within the confines of Adiala Jail, where he is presently detained, Khan passionately expressed his vehement opposition to any such maneuver, emphasizing that it would ignite unrest throughout the nation.

‘Any attempt to amend the constitution to extend the tenure of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will meet with fierce resistance. I will not hesitate to call for nationwide protests,’ Khan declared during his gripping interaction with journalists.

He further lamented the current state of affairs, painting a bleak picture by claiming that Pakistan’s situation is more dire than that of Bangladesh. ‘In Bangladesh, the army did not turn its guns on its people. The same principle should apply in Pakistan; the populace is already simmering with discontent.’

The former premier vehemently accused the current government of manipulating the constitution, stating that the law is being distorted to serve political interests. He directed his party to brace for a street movement, drawing stark comparisons to the rule of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, alleging that her government-controlled key institutions to suppress opposition.

Referring to the crackdown on PTI following the May 9 incidents, Khan claimed that his party had been systematically targeted. ‘Our leadership was either jailed or forced into hiding.’

The federal government submitted the photos of PTI founder’s jail room in the Supreme Court.

It should be remembered that in the previous hearing of the NAB amendment case, the founder of PTI had complained to the court, prompting the federal government to submit additional documents to refute his claims.

The federal government says that the claim of PTI founder being in solitary confinement is also incorrect.

Additional documents include photographs of PTI founder meeting lawyers in Adiala Jail.

Founder PTI has held 413 meetings in jail
So far 413 meetings have been held with the founder PTI in prison, this series of meetings started from September 28, 2023, which is still going on.

Those who met include Imran Khan’s lawyers, his wife Bushra Bibi, his sisters and cousins.

Principal secretary to the fomer prime minister Azam Khan on Wednesday claimed that the ex-premier had “pre-planned” the US cipher drama in an attempt to gain political mileage, sources told news media on Wednesday.

Khan, who had earlier been “missing” since last month, had recorded his statement under the CrPC 164 before a magistrate.

The former bureaucrat, in his confession, said when he provided the ex-premier with the cipher, he was “happy” and termed the language as a “US blunder”. The former minister then said, according to Azam, that the cable could be used for “creating a narrative against the establishment and opposition”.

Per the confession, the former premier also told Azam that the cipher could be used to divert the public’s attention towards “foreign involvement” in the opposition’s no-confidence motion.

The ex-premier told him [Azam] he would display the cipher in front of the public and “twist the narrative that a foreign conspiracy is being hatched in collusion with local partners and play [the] victim card. 

The confession further stated that the former premier kept cipher with himself in violation of the prevailing law.   

However, Azam Khan in his confession said that till the time he was former prime minister’s principal secretary, the cipher was not returned to the Prime Minister’s Office as the latter had lost the original document.
