South Africa beat Pakistan by 6 wickets to level T-20 series 1-1
Dwaine Pretorius starred with bowling figures of 5-17 as South Africa cruised to a six-wicket win over Pakistan to level their T20I series at 1-1. The Proteas fell three runs short in the first match on Thursday but comfortably chased down a smaller target of 145 this time around.
Pretorius had earlier wreaked havoc as Pakistan batters struggled despite the wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan once again rescued the Pakistan batting lineup. He got some assistance from Iftikhar Ahmed and Faheem Ashraf to push the hosts to a decent position. In the end Pakistan scored 144 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
The series will be decided in Sunday’s third and final game, which will also take place in Lahore.
