Sindh: Decision to close schools, marriage halls,to block mobile sims

The corona virus once again spiraled out of control in Karachi, prompting the Sindh government to tighten sanctions from Monday.The Sindh Corona Task Force has decided to once again impose restrictions on the rate of corona cases exceeding 10% in the province and 25% in Karachi.

A meeting of the Corona Task Force chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has decided to close educational institutions, ban wedding halls and other events from Monday due to the rapid spread of Corona virus in the province.

The meeting was attended by Provincial Ministers Saeed Ghani, Jam Ikram, Legal Adviser Murtaza Wahab, Health Parliamentary Secretary Qasim Soomro, IG Sindh Mushtaq Mehr, ACS Home Qazi Shahid Pervez, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sindh Sajid Jamal Abro, Secretary Finance Hassan Naqvi. Health Secretary Kazim Jatoi, Dr. Bari, Dr. Sara, Dr. Qaiser Sajjad, Saeed Qureshi, Corps Five, Rangers and representatives of other organizations participated.

It was decided in the meeting that the mobile SIMs of those who have not been vaccinated will be blocked. A letter will also be written to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) through the federal government to block the mobile SIMs of these people.

The letter said that PTA should send a message to all people to get vaccinated and those who do not get vaccinated should be stopped.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi has fallen victim to the global epidemic corona virus for the second time.
