Dr. Ishrat Hussain has resigned from the post of Advisor on Institutional Reforms and Austerity, which has been accepted.

The President accepted the resignation of Dr. Ishrat Hussain on the advice of the Prime Minister.

The Cabinet Division has also issued a notification approving the resignation of Dr Ishrat Hussain.

The notification said that the approval of the resignation of Dr. Ishrat Hussain will be effective from September 1, 2021.
