Transmission line supplying power to Karachi restored : Spokesman Power Division
A spokesman for the power division said that the transmission line supplying power to Karachi has been restored.According to the spokesperson of Power Division, NK Baldia-1 and Baldia-2 transmission lines have been restored and the power load is being gradually increased.
A spokesman for the Power Division also said that the supply from the national grid to Karachi has reached 700 MW.
Meanwhile, MD of National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) Muhammad Ayub while talking to Geo News said that 400 MW power has been restored to Karachi.
He also said that before the tripping, 1100 MW power was going to Karachi from the national grid, trying to restore full power to Karachi as soon as possible.
According to Imran Rana, Head of PR of K Electric, phased restoration of suspended power has started in Karachi due to tripping of transmission lines.
