Pakistan evacuated all Pakistanis from Afghanistan

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that out of 155 Americans coming from Afghanistan, only 42 are currently in Pakistan, the rest have gone back, others will also go in two days.

Giving a briefing after the meeting of the Federal Cabinet, Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that all Pakistanis in Afghanistan have been evacuated, it is the right of the Afghan people to form a government in Afghanistan. 

Fawad Chaudhry said that if the opposition has to alliance with the devil, it would do so.

He said that the opposition was ready to discuss their proposals. The PTI government is the first government that is talking about electoral reforms. They want to talk to the opposition about electoral reforms but they do not. The opposition just has to criticize.

The Federal Minister said that the Prime Minister has given the task of reducing the price of LPG cylinders.

He said that 16,272 people imprisoned in foreign jails have been brought to Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan would help those who want to leave Afghanistan.

He said that Pakistan’s priority is to provide assistance on evacuation from Afghanistan. So far, 2421 people have come to Torkham on visas, while 10 people have come to Pakistan on visas so far in Chaman.

He said that 821 Afghans and 1570 Pakistanis have come from Torkham, all the Pakistanis who were in Afghanistan and wanted to leave have been evacuated.

The Federal Minister said that Pakistan had helped in evacuation of international observers from Afghanistan.

On the situation in Afghanistan, he said that it is the right of the Afghan people to form a government in Afghanistan, we will do whatever we can to alleviate the pain of the Afghan people.

He said that US troops would leave Pakistan soon.
