Notice issued to Chairman NAB from Lahore High Court for April 13
The Lahore High Court (LHC) while hearing the bail plea of PML-N President Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has issued notice to the Chairman NAB for April 13.The NAB has also maliciously declared the family members as anonymous.
A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court heard Shehbaz Sharif’s bail application.Shahbaz Sharif is of the view that he started his business in 1972, was elected Chief Minister of Punjab three times, he was first arrested on October 5, 2018 in the Ashiana case, then on September 28, 2020 in the money laundering case.
Money laundering was also investigated during the arrest in Ashiana case. None of the four promised witnesses named him. He is 70 years old, suffering from back pain and many other ailments.
He said that there are 110 witnesses in the reference, the trial is still at the preliminary stage, they have returned from abroad in the past, they will not escape, it is requested that an order be issued for release on bail in the money laundering case.
