Noor murder case: Parents of accused Zahir Jaffer arrested
The parents of Zahir Jaffar, accused in the murder case of Pakistani diplomat’s daughter Noor Muqaddam, have also been arrested.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat has ordered to seal the rehabilitation center. According to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, police have also arrested the parents of accused Zahir Jaffer.
According to police sources, the owner of a rehabilitation center called Therapy Works has also been arrested and interrogated.
According to sources, the owner of the therapy works, parents of the accused and two employees will be produced before the duty judge today.Police said the accused was taking classes in the rehabilitation center. The mother of the accused had called the team of the rehabilitation center.
Noor Muqaddam’s murder case has been registered in Kohsar police station on the complaint of his father. The initial post-mortem report of the victim revealed that 26-year-old Noor Muqaddam died due to lack of oxygen to his brain,later she was brutally beheaded. There were signs of torture on the body.
According to police sources, the accused also has a criminal record in England and has spent three months in jail there.
According to sources, the accused has also tortured his mother and younger brother in the past.
Iron clips, bloody knives, pistols and more than 100 bullets were recovered from the house in Sector F-7.
According to the police, during the interrogation, the accused was trying to mislead the police and was talking nonsense.
Police said that a pistol was recovered from the house of the accused in which the bullet was stuck. The pistol did not fire due to the stuck bullet.
