Nawaz Sharif’s London travelling was a government decision : Shehbaz Sharif
PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif has said that the decision to send Nawaz Sharif to London was taken by Imran Niazi’s government.
In a statement, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif could not be treated in Pakistan, it was also a decision of the government board.
He said that politics on Nawaz Sharif’s life was insensitive and inhumane, adding that the government’s attitude of defaming an individual was bringing Pakistan into disrepute.
Shehbaz Sharif said that according to the advice of doctors, it will be decided to treat Nawaz Sharif and stay in London. When the doctors give permission, Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan.
He said that the appeal has been filed keeping in view the legal requirements, adding that Nawaz Sharif can legally stay in London till the appeal is decided.
The PML-N president and opposition leader added that the government’s statements based on political hatred were against Pakistan’s dignity.
Shehbaz Sharif also said that it would be a pity if those who are waving political turbans do not bounce the turban of Pakistan. Statements contrary to the facts for political gain are regrettable.
