Prof. Sigwart knows Mr. Sharif as his patient for years. He was requested to fly from Switzerland & clinically guide us.
The report said Nawaz was undergoing several medical tests, since his arrival in London earlier this week. Quoting family sources, it said that a Swiss doctor had also examined the former prime minister at his residence.
Meanwhile, Nawaz’s personal physician Dr Adnan Khan tweeted on Saturday that Dr David Lawrence, cardiothoracic Surgeon at University College Hospital examined the former premier, who had been “given a roadmap for cardiac investigations & subsequent treatment”.
Dr Lawrence performed the CABG (heart bypass surgery) on Nawaz in May 2016 and had clinically looked after ever since, the doctor said.
