Cabinet expansion likely, MQM, PML-Q will get 1.1 more ministries
The coalition party Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has accepted the offer of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s second ministry.The federal cabinet is likely to be expanded before the budget 22-2021, the government offered ministries to the coalition parties.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered one more ministry to MQM, PML-Q and BAP.
The MQM, which has been offered another ministry before but is refusing to accept it, has insisted on fulfilling the agreement.
However, now that the MQM has decided to accept the offer of another PTI ministry, Federal Minister Asad Umar and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail have succeeded in persuading them.
According to sources, MQM Senator Faisal Sabzwari has persuaded the party leadership to take over another ministry.
MQM chief Khalid Maqbool Siddique has given the green signal to Faisal Sabzwari to join Imran Khan’s cabinet.
According to sources, Senator Kamil Ali Agha from PML-Q and Nawar Kakar from BAP are expected to join Imran Khan’s cabinet.
According to sources, on the other hand, PTI has also decided to give the ministry to one of its MNAs, Tahir Sadiq.
