MQM invites PM Imran Khan to visit Karachi
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Karachi.
Leaders of the ruling coalition Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and briefed him on Karachi’s problems.
Talking to media along with other leaders after meeting the Prime Minister, Faisal Sabzwari said that two or three issues were discussed during the meeting with the Prime Minister.
He said that he drew the attention of the Prime Minister to the gas load shedding of industries in Karachi, to which the Prime Minister said what efforts he was making to solve the gas load shedding.
Faisal Sabzwari said that the Prime Minister had assured to remove the taxes imposed on the salaried class.
He said that there was talk of spending Karachi Development Fund despite the stubbornness of Sindh government.
He said that we have talked to the Prime Minister on the issues of Karachi, the Prime Minister has been invited to visit Karachi, he will come to Karachi next month, God willing.
On this occasion, MQM Pakistan convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that the response of the Prime Minister was very good, we went for the national cause.
“When we speak for the people of Karachi, we speak for the whole of Pakistan,” he said.
MQM Pakistan leaders said the alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is strong.
