11 coal miners were shot dead while four others were injured in Mach area of Kachi district on Sunday.

According to details, security forces have cordoned off the area after unidentified assailants opened fire in a coal field. Police officials are collecting evidence from the place of the unfortunate incident.

Rescue officials said that injured have been shifted to hospital for medical treatment. 

PM Imran Khan in his tweet condemns the attack and asked the FC to use all resources to apprehend these killers & bring them to justice.

Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langove has taken notice of the incident and has instructed an immediate inquiry into it. “No stone should be left unturned in the arrest of the perpetrators,” he said.

The minister prayed for the health of the injured men and said that terrorism of any type is unacceptable in the province.
