Karachi: Dangerous spike in Corona cases, rate more than 20%
The cases of coronavirus in Karachi has risen to alarming levels, with the coronavirus positive rate being recorded at 20.34% in Quaid-e-Azam city in 24 hours.
According to Sindh Health Department officials, 5,650 people were tested for corona in Karachi in the last 24 hours, out of which 1,149 tested positive for corona.
In Hyderabad, the rate of corona virus was recorded at 6.88%. In the last 24 hours, 887 people were tested for corona, out of which 61 people tested positive for corona.
Other districts recorded a positive coronavirus rate of 2.97% in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,466 people across Sindh have been diagnosed with the corona virus.
The positive rate of the virus was recorded at 9.64% across the province.
Karachi traffic police have closed the main road leading to Sea View due to the implementation of smart lockdown due to increase in cases of corona virus in Karachi.
Traffic police have reported the closure of the coastal route on the social networking site Twitter.
